  Scientific Etchings
The subjects of this series are scientific images of cells and cellular events based upon observations in microscopes. Cells divide and multiply, one single cell can grow into complex specialized tissues and transform from round unspecialized cells into polarized elongated highly specialized ones such as nerve cells or photo receptors. Such processes are studied in our laboratory at Cancer Research UK and many of these events are relevant to our cancer studies. Nevertheless, for anyone with an artistic eye, these images are also very beautiful.

All etchings were created using classical printing techniques. Most of them were produced and inspired during workshops and open access hours at St. Barnabas Press in Cambridge.
